Something To Fight For

   Hey hey hey……

Celine here!

I hope that you had a great week and a great Memorial Day weekend.

I am going to tell you about my dad and I’s dream destination……………

Are you ready?! Our dream destination is……..

BORA BORA!!!!!!!

Bora Bora is a small island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, and trust me it is PARADISE!

A couple of days ago, my dad and I were on Google maps and he showed me Bora Bora.

There are small cabins that are mounted on posts ON TOP of the crystal clear water on the coast of Bora Bora, and some of the cabin floors are see through! There are beautiful coral reefs and colorful fish in the waist deep waters, and you can go swimming and snorkeling whenever you want. I found these amazing pictures of Bora Bora on the internet and they have made me more enthusiastic about Bora Bora…

I cannot believe that Bora Bora is an actual place… because it is so beautiful. I hope that someday my dad and I can go there…

I think it’s very important to have  a dream to fight for and to be motivated by.

SO that’s my dad and I’s dream destination, how about you? Please participate by leaving a comment, and thank you for reading. ;^)

Best Regards,

CCB

Move Your Bones

Hello everyone, I hope that you all had a great week……….

So I think that excercising is very important for our overall health, and our more gracious aging. I am going to tell you about the way that I excercise besides swimming and softball……..

When we have nothing planned on our schedule, my dad and I take our bikes out of the garage and we put our dog, Nacho, in a small backpack big enough for him to fit in.
We put on our helmets, my dad holds the back pack, and we take off on our bikes into the neighborhood. In the north end of our neighborhood, there is a levee with one side bordering the neighborhood, and the other side bordering the dry, endless, Santa Maria river.
So we ride across the neighborhood, and we mount the levee.
We also let Nacho out of the backpack, and he runs alongside the bikes.
We ride about half an hour or so, and then we dismount the bikes and go down the dry end of the levee. We walk until we reach the wet part of the river, and here is the best part!
Once we have full view of the part of the river that’s still running, we also have full view of a teepee that my friend Lita and I started, and that my dad and I finished.
When my dad and I come to the river, we always add sticks and logs that we find around so we can keep the teepee from falling down. A little while ago though, my dad went on a bike ride near the river, and he checked on the teepee. Unfortunately, it had been knocked down and all that remain are a pile of long sticks and logs. We still go to the river though. I am super glad that we took a bunch of pictures, and here are some of them below.

So… You HAVE to excercise, it’s very important that you excercise, so you can keep your body healthy. What’s your favorite sport? Why? Do you excercise enough? Please leave a comment down below and I’ll be glad to know your input. Also ask yourself these questions, and if you feel like you don’t excercise enough, do it when my dad and I do: WHENEVER YOU CAN!!!!!!

Until the next post, CCB

Follow your Passion!!!

Hello everybodyyyyyy!

Doesn’t the time go by fast?

So, I have almost mastered “The Climb” on my guitar, and I can’t wait to play this awesome song for you guys. I always have fun practicing my guitar!

Something new is that besides swimming, I have began to LOVE softball. A couple of months ago my friends and I started to play softball at school, and we play it every day for thirty minutes. Ever since I started playing, I’ve been obsessed with it. To practice, my dad and I walk to the school in our neighborhood with a ball and bat. We bring our dog, Nacho, so he can run around on the field while we practice. We also bring a basketball, because there’s a basketball court at the school, and shooting hoops is a pastime activity for both my dad and I .

By blogging, I follow my passion for writing, by being part of the swim team I follow my passion for swimming, and by posting videos, I follow my passion for singing. So what is YOUR passion?  What do YOU do to follow it? Make sure you do, because that’s what passion is for.

Guitar Practice

Brendon Burchard encourages Céline to follow her dreams.

Hello everyone, I have A LOT of great stuff to tell you.

My dad recently went to a convention that was lead by Brendon Buchard, and he came back with an amazing surprise!

My dad asked Brendon to write me a letter, and when my dad showed me the letter, he got the whole thing on video, and showed me a video he taped of Brendon writing the letter, so I would believe him.

When my dad showed me the letter, I WAS SO PSYCHED! It felt awesome to know that one ofthe people who inspire me actually knew my name!

That day, I also found out that my super duper awesome Uncle Jon had sent me money to buy myself  MY OWN GUITAR!!!!!!!!!!

I got the guitar this recent Sunday, and I am practicing at least forty-five minutes every day. The first song that I’m going to learn how to play on the guitar is The Climb by Miley Cyrus. THANKS UNCLE JON!!!!!!!! So…………………….

I had a great Friday!

Ps: When I learn how to play The Climb, I will post a video of my dad and I playing it on the guitar, and I’ll be singing it. Until next week, See Ya!

The Importance Of Water

Hello everyone I hope that all of you had a great week and I hope that you will enjoy my environment post.

Recently someone came to my school to teach us about an organization called Amman Imman.

We learned that Amman Imman helps to bring water to poor people in Africa. The person who taught us about Amman Imman showed my classmates and I a video on how people in Africa need to walk many miles just to get a few gallons of water. Seeing the videos of these people struggling to live made me realize more how fortunate we are to have clean and healthy water.

I felt deeply touched, and I wanted to spread the news about this great organization.

For more information please go to http://www.ammanimman.org/

Thanks for reading!

Best regards,

Rainforest Post

Hello everyone,

I’m very sorry for not posting earlier, I’ve been really busy.

From now on, I will post an article about our environment in my weekly blog post and I will write about how important it is to take care of our planet.

This week’s environment post is…..Rainforests

In case you don’t know… I LOVE ANIMALS!!!

I hate to think that the human kind is threatening the lives of and endangering rainforest animals by constructing buildings in their homes. It’s like someone just breaking your house down and leaving you with no place to go.

We are being selfish and I would like for more people to notice that we are endangering these innocent and helpless animals.

This was my environment post for this week.

                            NEWS

Besides posting about rainforests, I have also written a children’s book on rainforests, and
for more info, go on:

Rescued Shelter Animals

Hello everyone,

I’m sorry that I couldn’t post sooner, I got really busy this week.

So the swim club’s big pool finally got refilled.

I ‘m still enjoying my passion in sports, and going to swim practice is my favorite part of the day.

This week my coach told me that I’m going to move up a level in swim, and I WAS SOOOO EXCITED!!!

Also, my teacher at school this week told me about the county spelling bee that will be coming up soon,

and I have decided to try to enter it.

Last year I did my county’s spelling bee, I didn’t win, but I had tons of fun.

I’m hoping that this year I will be able to go again.

By the way, I have just published my third book,

and the title is “Nacho, The Shelter Dog”

The book is about my pet dog, Nacho.

The book explains about how Nacho was rescued

and how I found out about him.

He is now one of my best friends. J

I think that the animal shelter did a fine job finding Nacho his home.

My city’s animal shelter is a no kill shelter, and volunteers take every dog out for a walk every day.

Animals at my city’s shelter are taken care of especially well, not as well as most animal shelters treat  their animals.

That’s kind of like my sneak peek for my third book,

I hope that all of you had a great week, and I will post again next week.

Ciao for the rest of this week!

If you have interes in buying my book you can visit:

http://www.celinewrites.withernesto.com

You can get the first book for $1 dollar, 2 books for $1.75 or the 3 books for $2.50

Thank you!

Keep on going with passion – no excuse.

Hi everyone,

I hope that you had a great week, I sure did!

This Tuesday I went back to school, and for me school is pretty fun.

I’m part of the swim club in my city and it’s the best thing ever.

I have a swim meet this Friday soooooo….. wish me luck!!!;-)

Here is a pic of my club, the big pool got drained and it’s humongous looking! :

Swimming means a lot to me, and adding up for the college fund from my books, I would also like to get a scholarship in swimming too!

My coach is amazing!!! The coaches at the swim club don’t care if it’s

cold at a swim meet, if it’s raining at a swim meet, or if it’s HAILING at a swim meet,

they just push you to do your best no matter the condition you are in and

I admire that they do that, because it shows me that they think I can do it, I can accomplish what I was trained by them to do.

Keep at it - No excuse

Keep at it - No excuse

My coach brings me one step closer to the heart of my passion, and here’s my motto for that:

“It doesn’t matter if your passion is a dream or not, follow it until you have it in your reach.”

Until the next post next week!

Best Christmas present.

For my Thanksgiving break, I went to Napa Valley with

my Mom to visit her cousin.

We had a blast there and there were a bunch of people

there on Thanksgiving.

We stayed in Napa for about five days and I missed

my Dad and Nacho doggie like crazy the whole time.

When my Mom and I returned from Napa I was so happy to

see my Dad, and Nacho went crazy because he missed us so much!

I missed everyone in Napa but at the same time,

I was happy that everything was back to normal.

As soon as I got home from Napa I went straight

to where all of our Christmas decorations are.

I was like:”Thanksgiving’s over, it’s Christmas time now!!!”

And then there was Christmas, I had a great Christmas this year.

My Dad’s Christmas present for me was a…………

COMPUTER!

My Dad and I fixed up an old computer and it’s working great!

I feel so lucky because many ten-year olds don’t get to

work with their Dads on fixing a computer.

Right?

Now that I have a new computer to write and draw on I will be able to

organize my work and Dad promised to help me publish some of my

material to start my college fund.

I hope that all of you had the best Christmas ever and happy 2012!!!

Well, sorry I was caught up in so much excitement and kept on working

on my first and second book but could not manage to post this note on time.

My first book is ready and my second almost there! Yaaayyyy

Thank you for reading my post.
